Last night Tel-Avis Dov Airport closed down permanently following last minute discussions. As the struggle to keep Dov Airport alive was widely discussed during the last TLV Business Aviation Conference last March, the airport has been shutdown.

Most of the airport resident aircraft dispersed between Herzlia airport and Ben Gurion airport but nevertheless this is a big blow to the local business aviation industry, mainly because Ben Gurion airport is not set to properly handle the business aviation aircraft which takes second precedence after the airlines.
